Project enquiry data, local browser drafts and embedded media

This page explains the data used by the ShelterMetric English enquiry flow, project-planning tools and selected third-party media embeds.

Project enquiry form

When you submit a project enquiry, ShelterMetric processes the contact and project information you entered so the request can be reviewed. Typical fields include name, phone, email, city or region, facility type, approximate capacity and your project description.

Project passport drafts

The project passport can save a temporary draft in your browser local storage so you can move between connected tools without losing project inputs. This local draft may contain project parameters and notes but is not intended to store your contact details.

The project passport draft is designed to remain available for up to 30 days on the same browser unless you clear it earlier.

Long calculator or passport text attached to an enquiry

When a generated project description is too long to place safely in the page URL, ShelterMetric temporarily stores that text in your browser and restores it in the enquiry form. The temporary enquiry draft is valid for up to 24 hours and is removed after a successful submission when possible.

Embedded third-party media

Some pages may include selected external videos from organisations such as UNICEF or Ukrainian public institutions. ShelterMetric uses privacy-enhanced embedding where available. Loading or playing an embedded video can still cause your browser to communicate with the external media provider, which may process technical information according to its own privacy terms.

Embedded media is used as contextual evidence or explanation and does not change the project calculations or information you submit to ShelterMetric.
